Funded through the Police and Crime Commissioner’s Active Citizens Fund, Street Aid was delivered to over 300 young people in the West Midlands area.
Sessions took place at a range of locations including: Starbank School, City of Birmingham School Grove Centre, Washwood Heath Police Cadets, Lawnswood Campus, and Ormiston SWB Academy.
Over 92% of young people who received the training stated they had learned new skills and that the training would have a positive impact on them moving forward.

Street Aid is a great example of a project which is making a real difference to communities across the West Midlands. Equipping young people with the skills and knowledge to respond to difficult, and often life-threatening situations, will help in reducing conflict on the street"
